BritishUni Starts Partnership Negotiations with Meisei University (Japan)
BritishUni representatives, Levan Gurgenidze, Tinatin Zeragia and Aleksandre Natchkhebia, held the online meeting with the colleagues from Meisei University (Japan), Prof. Hiromasa Tanaka and Assoc. Prof. Takanori Kawamata. Meisei University is a private university in Tokyo, running bachelor and master level studies in the fields of business administration, humanities, economics, education, psychology and engineering.
Both parties discussed various partnership opportunities. More specifically, they planned a study visit of Japanese professors and students to Tbilisi at the end of the pandemic, possibly during the coming autumn semester. The academic staff of the BritishUni will host a cycle of public lectures for the Japanese guests. They will also be taken on a sightseeing tour throughout Georgia. Later on, Georgian students and academic staff plan to visit Japan. Moreover, the representatives of both universities discussed the implementation of joint student projects. Specifically, based on the experience of Meisei University, Japanese and Georgian students plan to work together on the creation of innovative products for specific Japanese business entity. At the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to draft the memorandum of cooperation.
