Call for Applications: Senate and School Council Elections

British University has announced the call for applications for Senate and School Council members.

Both students and academic staff are eligible to participate in the elections as candidates. Please note the following important points regarding eligibility and participation:

• Individuals elected as members of School Councils will not be eligible to serve as members of the Senate.

• During the application process, candidates will be asked to:

  • Indicate which School they represent (where they study or teach), and

  • Select the governing body they wish to be a member of (Senate or School Council).

These elections play an important role in strengthening participatory governance and ensuring representation of the academic community in the University’s decision-making processes. We encourage all eligible students and academic staff to take part in this process.
