Erasmus+ Partnership with the University of Tuscia (Italy)

on October 27, 2025
Erasmus+ Partnership with the University of Tuscia (Italy)

The British University has officially signed a new international cooperation agreement with the University of Tuscia (UNITUS) in Italy — one of Europe’s respected public research universities located in the city of Viterbo.

Under this newly signed Erasmus+ Inter-institutional Agreement, our institutions will collaborate on student and staff mobility, joint learning opportunities, and academic cooperation across several priority subject areas, including:

  • Law (ISCED 042)

  • Social and Behavioural Sciences (ISCED 031)

  • Languages (ISCED 023)

This agreement will allow British University students to spend time abroad in Italy — participating in short-term exchange, blended mobility programmes, or fully recognized academic study periods. Likewise, academic and administrative staff from both Universities will be able to participate in mobility activities, share best practices, deliver workshops and lectures, and strengthen institutional cooperation through direct exchange.

The partnership is valid for the Erasmus+ call years 2024–2027 and is designed to support academic mobility, cultural exchange, and the internationalisation of higher education.

Strengthening Our Global Network

This partnership is another milestone in expanding British University’s international academic ecosystem and offering our students high-quality European mobility and exposure.

Through this agreement, our students and academic staff will now have access to the academic environment, research expertise, and global networks of an established European university — further strengthening our global academic presence and building bridges between Georgia and the European Higher Education Area.

Further details for applicants — deadlines, selection process, and application guidelines — will be published on our Global Partnerships and International Students pages.
