Two New BA Programmes in Leadership and Entrepreneurship are Accredited
British University is proud to announce that its two new undergraduate programmes—BA in Leadership and BA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation—have officially received accreditation from Georgia’s National Center for Education Quality Enhancement (NCEQE).
This is a significant milestone in the University’s commitment to developing forward-looking academic programmes that respond to the evolving needs of Georgia’s youth and the broader regional economy.
Designed as three-year undergraduate degrees, both programmes aim to prepare students not just for today’s challenges, but for the complex, opportunity-rich world of tomorrow.
The BA in Leadership focuses on developing principled, adaptive leaders ready to make meaningful contributions across public, private, and civil society sectors. It emphasizes strategic thinking, ethical decision-making, communication, and people management.
The BA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation equips students with the mindset and tools to create, grow, and lead successful ventures. Blending theory with real-world application, it offers a deep dive into business model innovation, startup development, and creative problem-solving.
These programmes are rooted in British academic traditions, adapted for the Georgian context, and built in close collaboration with local and international experts. They integrate case-based learning, project work, and mentorship from practicing entrepreneurs and executives.
“Our goal is to empower a new generation of Georgian leaders and entrepreneurs,” said Associate Professor, Levan Gurgenidze, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences. ”These programmes will give students the knowledge, confidence, and global perspective they need to lead change and build impact-driven careers.”
British University’s new programmes are also a response to the growing demand for high-quality, internationally oriented education in Georgia. By embedding innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship into the core of undergraduate learning, the University is aligning itself with national development goals and the evolving aspirations of young Georgians.
The first intake of students for both programmes is scheduled for Autumn 2026.
