BU Vice Rector Delivers Masterclass at Political Tech Summit 2026 in Berlin

Berlin, 2026 — British University is proud to announce that its Vice Rector for Academic and Research Development, Levan Gurgenidze, delivered a masterclass at the Political Tech Summit 2026, held in Berlin on Saturday.

The Political Tech Summit is a leading international platform bringing together policymakers, political practitioners, technologists, and researchers to explore the intersection of technology, politics, and citizen engagement. Levan Gurgenidze has been involved with the summit since its inception, contributing to its intellectual and professional development over the years.

The masterclass, titled “Designing High-Impact Campaign Funnels with AI,” focused on the practical use of artificial intelligence in political campaigning. It explored how AI-driven tools and automation can be applied to streamline online campaigns, clearly define conversion goals, and guide supporters from awareness to concrete political action. The session emphasized measurable engagement, behavioural insights, and the ability of small teams to run large-scale, highly personalised campaigns using AI.

During the summit, the Vice Rector engaged with political professionals working on innovative and impactful campaigns, exchanged insights with international experts, and shared experience-based approaches to AI-enabled campaign design and digital mobilisation.

The event also highlighted the growing strength of Georgia’s political technology ecosystem. Two Georgian political tech startups — My Voice Counts and Rebut — were showcased at the summit, demonstrating strong potential for innovation and democratic impact. Their focus on debates and voting reflects the importance of technology in increasing civic participation and supporter engagement.

British University extends its sincere thanks to Iro Tsagareishvili, Managing Director of Axel – Georgian Business Angel Network, for supporting the participation of Georgian political tech startups and facilitating valuable connections during the summit.

British University is proud to be part of a global community advancing innovation at the intersection of technology, politics, and citizen engagement, and thanks Josef Lentsch, Benjamin Laepple, and the entire Political Tech Summitteam for organising a successful and inspiring event.
