Exchange Programme Competition with International Partners is Open

British University is pleased to announce the launch of a competitive exchange programme opportunity for first-year undergraduate students, offered in collaboration with two esteemed international partner institutions: Meisei University in Japan and International Business School in Hungary.

The competition is now open, and applications will be accepted until 20 January.

Expanding Global Learning Opportunities

As part of British University’s commitment to internationalisation and global academic mobility, the exchange programmes provide students with early exposure to international education, cross-cultural learning, and globally recognised academic environments.

Summer School in Japan at Meisei University

Students selected for Meisei University will participate in a Summer School programme in Japan, offering a unique combination of academic study and cultural immersion in Tokyo.

The programme provides substantial financial support:

  • Accommodation and local transportation are fully funded

  • Students are required to cover only the cost of their flight ticket

This opportunity allows students to experience Japanese higher education while engaging with an international cohort in one of the world’s most dynamic cultural settings.

Semester Exchange at International Business School, Hungary

Students choosing International Business School (IBS) will study abroad for one academic semester. IBS delivers programmes that are aligned and validated by the University of Buckingham, ensuring that credit transfer is seamlessfor British University students.

Under this exchange:

  • The teaching component is fully funded by the programme

  • Students are responsible for accommodation, travel, and personal living expenses

This pathway is ideal for students seeking a longer-term international academic experience within a UK-validated educational framework.

  • Selection: Competitive, based on academic performance and motivation
