Senate Elections at the British University

British University has successfully completed the University Senate elections, marking an important milestone in strengthening institutional governance, academic self-governance, and participatory decision-making within the University.

The election process engaged both academic staff and students, reflecting the University’s strong commitment to transparent, inclusive, and representative governance. Following the election, the new composition of the University Senate has been formally confirmed.

The University Senate is the highest collegial academic body of the University and plays a central role in shaping strategic development, academic policy, and the quality assurance of teaching, learning, and research. Through the Senate, elected members actively contribute to discussions and decisions that influence the University’s academic direction and long-term development.
